The loaf pan that I received as a wedding gift had bit the dust. The hint was that you could see rust forming in the corners. I had heard of Doughmakers made by Pebbleware, LLC in Terre Haute, IN and set out on a quest to find a new loaf pan.
I found the brand a few kitchen stores, but no loaf pan then out of the blue on Small Business Saturday there I was in Plymouth, MI and my husband pulls me over to their Doughmakers Display. There on the shelf next to cookie sheets was my new loaf pan.
Does it mean I am aging when I get excited about a new loaf pan??
The salesperson said her daughters loved the cookware and had almost every piece. I haven't used it yet but will over the weekend. Things to remember is not to put in the dishwasher, do not use aerosol non-stick sprays (a solid shortening is best), scratches will not affect its performance.
